1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, accessing, or using the BrowserCode platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use our services.
2. Accounts and Security
You must provide a valid email address to register. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. BrowserCode is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your login information. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.
3. Educational Content and Playgrounds
All lessons, quizzes, and reference materials provided on BrowserCode are for educational purposes. The interactive Playgrounds are provided "as is" to allow you to practice coding in your browser. We do not guarantee that the execution environments are suitable for production-level development.
4. User-Generated Code
You retain ownership of any code you write in the BrowserCode Playgrounds. However, you are solely responsible for the code you execute. BrowserCode cannot be held responsible for any data loss, browser crashes, or unintended side-effects caused by infinite loops, memory leaks, or logical errors in your code.
5. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
- Attempt to bypass, disable, or defeat the browser sandboxing mechanisms.
- Use the platform to distribute malicious software, phishing links, or spam.
- Attempt to overwhelm our infrastructure through automated scraping, denial-of-service attacks, or excessive API requests.
- Impersonate BrowserCode staff or administrators.
6. Account Suspension and Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, without prior notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms of Service or our Acceptable Use Policy.

BrowserCode is an evolving educational platform. We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue any part of the service, curriculum, or playground technologies at any time without notice.
Terms FAQ
Can I use BrowserCode for commercial purposes?
The platform itself is for educational use. However, the skills you learn and the original code you write in the playground belong to you, and you are free to use them commercially.
What happens to my code if my account is suspended?
If your account is suspended for violating these terms, access to your saved projects and learning progress will be revoked. In cases of severe violations, the data may be permanently deleted.
